1. Who is responsible

2. Visiting the site

When you open a page, the web server records a technical log entry: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser’s identification. We use these logs only to run the site and keep it secure, for example to detect attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are deleted automatically after at most nine weeks.

Fonts, images and scripts are all served from this site’s own server, so browsing does not send your data to other companies. The site sets no cookies for visitors.

3. Suggesting a resource

If you use the suggestion form, we store what you enter (the resource’s name, link, type, cost and description, and your name if you give one) together with the time of submission. We use it only to review the suggestion. If it is added, the name you gave is shown on the resource’s page and on the About page as a thank-you; leave the name field empty if you prefer not to be credited. Suggestions that are not added are deleted when we review them.

To stop spam, your IP address is kept briefly in the server’s memory to limit how many suggestions can be sent per hour. It is not stored with your suggestion. The “I’m not a robot” check (ALTCHA) runs entirely on this server and does not contact any other service.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a moderated list (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, for showing your name, your consent by entering it (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to us.

4. Writing to us

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete the correspondence when it is no longer needed.

5. Links to other websites

When you follow a link to another website, that website’s own privacy policy applies. Links labelled “Affiliate link” pass through the partner’s tracking service, which may set cookies on its own site so that a purchase can be attributed to us.

6. Hosting

The site runs on a server rented from DigitalOcean, LLC, in its data centre in Frankfurt, Germany. DigitalOcean processes the server’s data only on our behalf.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To use these rights, write to info@onlineclarinet.com.

You may also complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb@dsb.gv.at, or to the authority in your own country.
